Why this matters
Your saved templates live in one place so you can reuse your best work instead of rebuilding it each time. From there you can preview them, start a campaign from one, edit them, or remove the ones you no longer need.
Where to find your templates
In the left menu, go to Resources ▸ My Email Templates. This is the library of templates you've saved, including any branded or Smart Templates.
To learn how a template gets here in the first place, see Saving campaigns as templates.
My Email Templates (under Resources) holds the templates you've saved and personalized. It is different from the professional template gallery under Campaigns ▸ Email Templates, where you start from a ready-made professional design for all kinds of organizations and occasions.
What you can do
- Preview a template: open it to see how it looks before using it.
- Use a template: start a new campaign from a template by clicking Select Template in the preview. See Creating campaigns.
- Edit a template: open the template in the email designer, make your changes, and save. See Using the email designer.
- Delete a template: remove templates you no longer need. See Deleting a template.
Tips for keeping your library organized
- Give templates clear, descriptive names when you save them, so they're easy to find later.
- Keep a small set of well-maintained base templates rather than many near-duplicates.
- Use Smart Templates to keep your branding consistent across templates.
Troubleshooting
I can't find a template I saved
- Open Resources ▸ My Email Templates and check the list (and any filter or search).
- Confirm you saved it with Save Template after naming it.
- Make sure you're in the correct account.
A template looks different when I reuse it
- Confirm the images are still hosted at their original URLs.
- Check that merge tags or dynamic content are still valid.
- Verify custom fonts are still available.
