The asset sharing feature allows you, as a reseller, to create, design, and share email templates with your users seamlessly. This guide will explain how to use this feature effectively to manage and distribute your templates.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Accessing the assets section

Sign in to your reseller account.

Navigate to the Assets section. It's located in the top right of the dashboard, next to the Accounts tab.

You'll see an organized list of your templates. The categories are:
- Free templates
- Paid templates
- Smart templates
You can sort your assets by:
- All templates
- My templates
- General templates: this refers to your system email templates.
Creating a new template

Click the + button to start creating a new template.

Enter the template details:
- Name: the title of your template, which should be descriptive and specific.
- Subject: the default subject line that will appear when the template is used in a campaign.
- Category: choose whether the template will be listed as "Free" or "Paid".
- Tags: add relevant tags to help categorize and make the template easily searchable (for example, industry-specific tags or seasonal tags).
Designing your template
Once your template is created, you'll be directed to the Email Designer, where you can customize it with various content blocks:
- Content blocks: drag and drop elements such as text areas, images, buttons, and tables to build your template.
- Customization: modify the layout, colors, and typography to align with your brand's aesthetic.
- Advanced settings: use advanced features like conditional content or dynamic personalization to enhance engagement.
By using smart templates, you can ensure a consistent and professional look for all your sub-accounts' email templates.
Save and preview your template

Preview the template by clicking the eye icon in the top right. Ensure it displays correctly on both desktop and mobile formats.

After finalizing your design, click Save and Exit.
Sharing your template
After previewing, you can decide how to share the template.
Choose who to share with:
- With all your users: click Share with All.
- With specific users: manually select the users to share with.
Unshare your template. Alternatively, you can unshare your template, either by clicking Unshare with All or by manually selecting which users to unshare with.
Enable auto-sharing. Auto-sharing lets you automatically share your template with new accounts.
When your sharing preferences are set, click Publish.
How End Users Access Your Templates
End users will be able to access shared templates in their own accounts. Here's how they can find them:

Sign in to their account.

Click Create Campaign.

Select Change Template.

Navigate to the [Partner Name] Templates section.

Select the template and start customizing!
Troubleshooting
Templates don't appear for end users
- Check that the template was properly published after sharing
- Verify if sharing settings include the specific users
- Ensure end users are looking in the correct template section
- Allow a few minutes for shared templates to propagate
Can't edit or delete shared templates
- Confirm you have the necessary reseller permissions
- Check if the template is currently being used by clients
- Verify you're logged into the correct reseller account
- Try unsharing the template before attempting to delete
Auto-sharing not working for new accounts
- Ensure auto-sharing is enabled in the template settings
- Check that new accounts are properly linked to your reseller account
- Verify if there are template sharing limits on your plan
- Review if specific template categories have sharing restrictions
Template formatting issues after sharing
- Test templates in preview mode before sharing
- Check that all images are hosted on accessible servers
- Verify if custom fonts are web-compatible or properly embedded
- Ensure responsive design works across different email clients
