Description
Copying previous campaigns is known as duplication. By selecting duplicate, you'll copy the template, content, and contact list you originally selected. Past campaigns are duplicated for different reasons. Usually, they are replicated to save time and reduce the risk of errors when resending the same template to a list.
Why It's Important
It's often very useful to duplicate your campaign for several reasons. For example, if you liked the structure of your campaign and would like to reuse it in the future, simply duplicate it! Copies can also be created to test changes to an existing campaign structure.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
In the left menu, select Campaigns, then Emails, and locate the draft or the sent campaign you want to duplicate.
-
Select the arrow button to the right. Click to open the menu.
-
The option to duplicate will appear.
-
Select Duplicate
Duplication is complete
Once the copy is complete, you can change the contact list, campaign information, and content as needed.
Troubleshooting
Duplication takes too long
- Large campaigns with multiple images may take time
- Check your internet connection stability
- Try duplicating during off-peak hours
Missing content after duplication
- Check that all images have been properly uploaded to the library
- Verify that custom HTML/CSS is compatible
- Make sure dynamic content sources are still active
Contact list doesn't copy
- Confirm that the original list still exists
- Check that you have access to the contact list
- Manually select the list after duplication if necessary
Template changes don't reflect
- Clear browser cache after duplication
- Save the duplicated campaign before editing
- Make sure you're editing the copy, not the original
